Our main objectives will be to:

  • Follow all XCSO & Public Health Guidelines plus Provincial & Federal Directives
  • Communicate and Document

Preparing for your Visit to Kawartha Nordic

Bring a Face Mask! a face mask is recommended within the washroom building, the Woodfine Chalet, in queue at the rental shop, and when participating in programs when not physically distant from coaches or other skiers.

Trail Passes: on the same day you plan to visit, please purchase your trail pass online before visiting Kawartha Nordic. If you wish to pay by cash, please use the self-serve kiosk at the trail-head (exact change only). Once you've purchased your trail pass online please keep a paper or electronic receipt with you as your trail pass - you do not need to obtain a trail pass when you arrive at Kawartha Nordic.

Rentals: please download, complete, and print the rental form and bring it with you to the rental shop at Kawartha Nordic. There will be no entry to the rental shop this year. Pay for your rentals through the window and return your rentals to the wax room.

Chalet: Please note the chalet, trail-side cabins and wax room are open this year.

Our Plan for KN Programs

All participants, students, athletes, coaches, and leaders for any Kawartha Nordic ski program, including Youth Programs (Bunnyrabbits, Jackrabbits & Track Attack), the Racing Team (Racing Rabbits, U12/U14/U16/U18/U20/U23), and Private, Semi-Private & Group Ski Lessons, are required to know and follow the expectations layed out in the Kawartha Nordic Safe Return-to-Sport Plan (to be updated for 22-23 season).

  • Children in youth programs should bring their own water and snacks, spare mitts, and equipment as required
  • Masks are recommended when joining the program and when physical distancing cannot be maintained

Our Plan for Skiing & Snowshoeing

Details on our plans for helping members and day users stay safe while visiting the club for personal skiing and snowshoeing are layed out in the Return-to-Skiing for Facilities Plan (Revised October 17, 2022)
