New for 2024, the Kawartha Nordic Leadership Program is for experienced skiers aged 13–16 who wish to learn to coach.

Program participants will receive 1h of instruction on Saturdays in January and February, and then be encouraged to put their learning to work that same day by volunteering with a KN Youth Skill Development Group (Bunnyrabbits, Jackrabbits or Track Attack).

Program participants that are at least 14 years of age, will also be encouraged to work on their NCCP Coaching certification (requires an additional fee paid to NCCP).

Our Leadership Program is for competent classic and/or skate skiers. If a learn-to-ski program is needed, please consider our youth programs and private lesson options.

This program is scheduled for Saturdays in January and February, and will coincide with the Youth Program dates as shown in our KN calendar.

Prerequisites:

• Program participants require a Kawartha Nordic season pass
• Program participants will require appropriate equipment for classic skiing and/or skate skiing — some equipment may be available to rent but sizing is limited & availability cannot be guaranteed

Rates do not include HST.
