New this year! Ski under the lights on a new 2.5 km lit trail. Lights are on until 9:30pm every day of the week. We are offering a new special night pass rate of $8 (after 4pm) payable at the trailer or self-serve kiosk (members ski free). Come on out for a mid-week ski under the lights!

There is lots of work to be done to get the trails ready for winter and to work on the Trillium Project. If you have time to volunteer, we would greatly appreciate the extra hands! No experience necessary. Just come prepared to work, rain or shine, and bring your own gloves, lunch and water. Meet at the WOODfine Chalet 9am-4pm.
September 27 and 28 - it's summer again! weather is beautiful, come work around the chalet on the Trillium Project
October 4 and 5 - extra hands are needed this weekend to help with backfilling the trenches and to prepare the posts for the trail lighting
October 10, 11, 12 - help clear the trails of fallen branches, stones, and cut back new growth
Nov 1 - help clear the snowshoe trails, meet at Woodfine Chalet 10:30am

The Annual General Meeting of the members of the KAWARTHA NORDIC SKI CLUB, INCORPORATED will be held on Monday November 17, 2014 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Board of Directors is excited to announce that Kawartha Nordic has been awarded a Trillium Grant of $221,800 over three years to increase access to recreational activities, particularly for children and youth, by upgrading facilities at the ski lodge and increasing support for volunteer coaches.
