"When is Opening Day...?" This is probably the most-asked question at this time of year. And unfortuately the answer is... "Depends". We don't have snow making facilities at Kawartha Nordic so we have to rely on the snow that Mother Nature presents us. That means, we need a decent amount to not only cover the trails, but to allow the groomers to pack it down and set a track as well.

We are really dilgent at keeping the website and our social media account up to date with our opening hours and trail conditions. Because, like you, we are also excited to get out there and start skiing. So do your part and keep up the snow dance ritual and we hope to see you on the trails.
