We are gearing up for a fantastic Family Day weekend, celebrating the heart of winter on the region’s best cross-country ski trails. Whether your family members are seasoned pros or have never strapped on skis before, we have everything you need for an easy, fun, and adventurous day outside.

Worried that the trails might be too hard for the kids or too boring for the experts in your group? Don't be. We pride ourselves on offering a diverse network of trails suitable for absolutely everyone.

We have gentle, flat loops perfect for finding your ski legs, and challenging terrain for those looking for a workout. You can all start together and branch off, or stick together on our beginner-friendly routes.

No Gear? No Problem! (We even have baby gliders!)

Getting the whole family outfitted for winter sports can be a hassle. We make it easy with full-service rentals right on site. Our friendly staff will get you fitted with boots, skis, and poles so you can hit the snow immediately.

Got really little ones? We want them to enjoy the winter wonderland too! Ask about our rental baby gliders—pull-behind sleds that let you get your ski on while your toddler enjoys the ride snugly tucked inside.

Cozy Up: Warm-Up Cabins and the Big Chalet

Let’s be honest, half the fun of a ski day is the hot chocolate break.

Out on the trails, you’ll find our beloved rustic warm-up cabins. They're the perfect destination for a mid-ski rest, a place to warm up cold toes or a scenic spot to crack open your packed lunch surrounded by the silent forest.

When you’re finished for the day, head back to the main trailhead and our big, welcoming chalet. We have plenty of tables where your family can gather, eat lunch, drink hot chocolcate and recount the day's adventures.

Besides our incredible daily skiing, we have two signature events happening this weekend that you won’t want to miss:

Friday Night Magic:

The Lantern Ski Kick off the long weekend on Friday night after dark. Skiing under the stars is a truly magical experience. Follow the soft glow of lanterns along the designated route—it’s a peaceful, enchanting adventure that kids and adults alike absolutely love. Stop off at the Sugar Shack for a s'mores treat. 

Monday Funday: Olympic Theme Games

On Family Day Monday, channel your inner Olympian! We are hosting Olympic-themed games on the snow. It’s all about fun participation, getting active, and maybe earning a little gold medal glory. It’s the perfect way to burn off energy before heading back to school and work on Tuesday.
