Sugar Moon Ski
While the Farmer’s Almanac may list it as the Worm Moon, the Anishnaabe people of the Kawartha Lakes refer to this time as Ziissbaakdoke Giizis — the “Sugar Making Moon.”
We think that name feels especially fitting. We also think you should join us for an informal evening ski as we celebrate the season under the light of the full moon. There are no scheduled activities — just an open invitation to explore the moonlit trails and experience Kawartha Nordic after dark.
We think Monday or Tuesday night will have the "fullest" moon. Bring some friends to ski with and make it a whole night ski.
