Riding Out the Warm Spell

We’re staring down some wet weather this weekend, but don't pack away your gear just yet! While the forecast looks a bit damp, we’re confident this isn't the end of the season. We’re doing everything we can to preserve the base and keep you gliding.

The Game Plan

  • Saturday Trails: We are keeping the trails open!
  • Grooming: To protect the snowpack, we won't be grooming while temperatures remain above freezing. However, if the mercury drops below 0 degrees Saturday night, our grooming team will be out early Sunday morning to refresh the tracks.
  • Rentals: The rental trailer will be open and ready for you starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

A Note on Trail Etiquette

When the snow is this soft, it is incredibly fragile. Please do not walk on the trails. Walking in these warm conditions creates "post-holes"—deep footprints that freeze into solid, dangerous ruts once the temperature drops. These are significant hazards for skiers and can take a lot of work to repair. We appreciate you helping us keep the trails safe and smooth for everyone!
