The Nordic Legacy campaign is a multi-year initiative to enhance the facilities available to our growing membership. To date, KNSC has built a beautiful new two-story chalet and acquired new property for trails. For the last 3 years, Cross Country Canada has supported the campaign by sponsoring it as a charitable project and offering tax receipts. Over $74,000 in donations were received from members and non-members through CCC! While we are no longer able to offer tax receipts through CCC, the Nordic Legacy campaign continues. We have raised more than $272,000 through donations, club revenue and the sale of the Cossar Cabin, but approximately $99,000 of additional funding is still needed to pay down our debt. If you want to learn to classic or skate ski faster and with more ease join us on Sunday Jan 11th 2008 for a 1.5 hr clinic with Gord Salt. There will be two clinics classic in the morning at 10:00am and a skate clinic at 1:30pm. Space is limited to 10 people per class. Please sign up at Wild Rock Outfitters 745-9133. Cost is $25.00 per person.
